Construction Safety Net is currently used in many areas today. There are different types according to the place and purpose of use. For example;<\/p>\n

The nets used<\/strong> as<\/strong> work safety net or work safety net<\/strong> are a network system that prevents people and goods from falling, especially in factories and similar large-scale workplaces.<\/p>\n

Nets preferred for shelf safety as shelf safety net<\/strong>; It is a net system that provides high strength against horizontal or vertical movements in order to prevent goods from falling from shelves in product warehouses in hospitals, large shopping malls and factories or in working places belonging to large business centres.<\/p>\n

It is used as balcony netting<\/strong> to ensure human safety against possible falls and injuries in many areas of life such as balconies, stairs and building spaces in schools, residences and workplaces, pools or ski slopes.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t

Construction Safety Net Standards<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In many areas of life as well as in construction areas, there are certain standards for a network system used against falling people or materials. This measure taken against falls in construction sites with construction safety nets must comply with TSE 1263-1 and TSE 1263-2<\/strong> standard values in terms of raw material, production method and application method.<\/p>\n

Of these standards, TS EN 1263-1 also applies to safety nets and accessories used in construction and installation works to protect against a fall at a higher point. It specifies safety requirements and test methods and is based on the performance characteristics of polypropene and polyamide fibres. It requires that the materials used in the nets of the system in question should not have a significant reduction in mechanical properties between -10 \u00b0C and +40 \u00b0C.<\/strong> However, this European Standard is not applicable for the installation of construction safety nets. It covers the safety requirements for the positioning of safety nets according to the manufacturer’s instructions for use and product specifications and for the testing of safety nets system T, system S, system V and system U in accordance with EN 1263-1. Small safety nets with an area of less than 35 m2 and a shortest side of less than 5 m and included in system S in accordance with EN 1263-1<\/strong> are outside the scope of this standard.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
