Rodent Rabbit Protection Net
Rodent Rabbit Protection Net is a porous plastic protection product used to limit animals’ direct access to the trunks of young saplings. It is used to create a physical barrier around trunks in orchards, vineyards and newly planted areas.
To select the right product, identify the species causing damage on site, the trunk diameter and the height of the section to be protected. As protection performance depends on the mesh opening, material structure and installation method, the product’s suitability for the target animal should be assessed before ordering.
Rodent Rabbit Protection Net Applications
Rodent Rabbit Protection Net can be used in agricultural areas where there is a risk of animal damage, particularly to young trunks. Before installation, identifying which part of the trunk has been damaged helps determine the required protection height.
- New orchards: Plan requirements according to the number of saplings, trunk diameter and height to be protected.
- Vineyard establishment: Assess the trunk structure, support system and access for maintenance together.
- Existing young saplings: Choose the appropriate size, allowing for branching points and growth.
During installation, check for gaps at the bottom edge, joints and fastening points of the net. Fastenings must not put pressure on the trunk; as the sapling grows, reassess the net’s position and its contact with the trunk.
Why Rodent Rabbit Protection Net?
Physical barrier around the trunk: The net encloses the section intended for protection. The suitability of the installation should be assessed according to the animal species and type of damage found on site.
Porous structure: Allows air and light to pass through. However, mesh size alone should not be regarded as a guarantee of protection against a particular animal.
Planning requirements by size: The order quantity can be determined by considering the number of saplings to be protected, installation height and the form in which the product is supplied.
When comparing Rodent Rabbit Protection Net prices, examine length, diameter, mesh size and weight per metre on the same basis. Fastening materials and installation requirements should also be included in the total application cost.
